Job Description:

Responsible for operating, maintaining and repairing the water distribution and sewer collection systems.

Essential Job Functions:

• Work as a team member and reports to the Crew Supervisor
• Inspects water and sewer systems daily
• Assists ORC (Operator in Charge) in daily, weekly and monthly Quality testing
• Reads Meters
• Repairs leaks and provide system maintenance
• On-call / Weekend duty once a month

Requirements and Preferred Knowledge:

• Pass a Drug Test
• Ability to operate light and heavy equipment
• NC Driver’s License
  • Ability to obtain Commercial Driver’s License
• At least 1 year experience in Water/Sewer Utility installation, maintenance and repair
• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D)
• Ability and desire to obtain certification of NC water distribution license
